Call for a Tenure Track position for a Researcher in the field of Computer Security

The purpose of FBK’s Tenure Track program is to offer high level professionals the opportunity of pursuing a structured career path in order to become tenured researchers and contribute to the long term strategy of the organization.

Within this framework, FBK-ICT is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, independent researcher in the field of Computer Security.

The successful candidate is expected to:
  • Conduct research and innovative activities in the broad area of Computer Security;
  • Develop software tools for the automated analysis of security-critical systems and/or apply them to industrial scale problems;
  • Participate in research and development projects, also in partnership with industrial partners.

PhD candidates

The ST Research Unit is looking for a candidate to carry out activities in the field of security analysis techniques for access control policies. The researcher is expected to build automated analysis techniques for safety properties (both at the user and administrative levels) in order to augment the security of distributed applications with particular attention to the NATO High Assurance Attribute-Based Access Control Guard system (more info about the project available here). The ST Research Unit is looking for a talented and motivated candidate to contribute to the development of an industrial strength software toolkit and methodology for in-depth threat analysis and security testing of distributed applications.
